DePaul Little Sibs' Weekend

Creating a memorable activity filled weekend for residents and their younger siblings. In addition to exploring DePaul as well as the great city of Chicago.

During the weekend of April 27th- April 29th . Residence Hall Council (RHC) will be hosting our fourth annual Little Siblings Weekend. This opportunity is for younger brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends (grades 3-12) to visit your student at DePaul University for a fun filled weekend.

After the success of the past few years, RHC has decided to continue Little Siblings Weekend as an annual event. RHC believes that this event is a great way to demonstrate to non-DePaul students that living on-campus is really an awesome experience. These three days will give siblings not only an opportunity to venture into what living on-campus is, but it will also give them a chance to explore campus if they wish to attend DePaul University in the future.

RHC will be co-sponsoring programs many with different on-campus student organizations to give your student and his/her siblings an all-around DePaul campus experience. Activities will be held throughout the weekend in a few of the Residence Halls, on campus, around the Lincoln Park area, and downtown. Some of this year’s activities include a catered dinner from a local restaurant, an event organized by RHC senators, a Carnival, and entertainment options for Saturday night.

The Little Siblings Weekend Basic package will cost $15.00 for each guest and includes catered dinner on Friday, a one day Chicago Transit Authority pass for Saturday, Carnival access, tickets to see a movie of own choice, and breakfast Sunday morning. The Little Sibs Weekend Premium package will cost $30.00 and includes catered dinner on Friday, a one day Chicago Transit Authority pass for Saturday, Carnival access, tickets to see a Broadway show, and breakfast Sunday morning. The cost is to help cover admittance to the all of the RHC sponsored events, t-shirt, a Chicago Transit Authority pass, and food. The registration form is attached and must be filled completely. All registration forms are due by 5pm on April 2nd 2012.

A late registration will result in a $5.00 late fee if the application is not received by March 27th. All late registrations forms are due no later than, April 14th. Those who register late may not receive a t-shirt, depending on availability.

Little Siblings Weekend will be a fun and exciting weekend for everyone. Your student will not want to miss out on all the excitement that this weekend will bring.
